a co-worker sent this to me today...

www.theflatearthsociety.org

It looks serious - there's a group of people truly arguing that the earth is flat. Read the FAQ to get an idea.

The Earth's surface is made of thin crust pizza, so be careful.

I can't tell if that particular link is a parody or not, but I do know that the flat-earthers go way back and still exist today.

Hard to believe people think the Internet is full of dummies...

We are all living in a spice jar in Nefud's kitchen.

The Flat Earthers were a card in the old Illuminati game, so they would have to have been around for a long time.  And really, I've never been to space, all that stuff could be made up...

We just discussed this site in Astronomy. Basically it's a web site designed to lure in the idiots of the world and allow us to laugh at them. It is based of a society that may or may not still be around. Note that this is by no means an offical web site for said society. I don't mean to be harsh but if you think this is a serious site please hand in any degree or diploma you may have chanced into during your schooling. That's right I am hereby revoking diplomas/degrees.

How would you like to come back to my tardis and take a look at my time vortex?
