I was recently asking for TP fan films, but they are hard to find... and I was thinking, I could be more lucky asking for fan fictions. Which is your favorite, and why? -or why not...

Most of the little I've read has been abysmal. I do like Jordan's Mr. Blodgett's Barn prequel here on the PRR section of this site.
Building up to the world before Twin Peaks, like FWWM did, gives room for new characters and origins.
Are you a fan fiction writer, redroomguy?

No, I'm not. But I was pretty fascinated reading how -here in the fiction section and in Fanfinction.net- there were some fanfictions trying to complete what was left unanswered in the series and the film... So, I was curious to know if there where some well-known fanfics among fans.

I once wrote a synopsis for a possible third season of Twin Peaks. It would have taken place 24 years after the events of the original show. Some of the old cast would have returned, like Donna, Audrey (who now runs the Great Northern), Bobby (still an assistant to Audrey), Shelly (running the Double R), etc, but also a wealth of new characters.
The Ghostwood Development Project would have planted an entirely new residence area on a part of the Twin Peaks forest, including Glastonbury Grove. New murders take place which prompt an FBI investigation, this time headed by an older Sam Stanley and a colleague played by Sheryl Lee (not related to Laura or Maddy, but I thought it would be sort of fun to have the "Laura" character as one of the FBI agents this time). Stanley is getting lost in minor details as usual, while the new agent uncovers most of the history regarding the earlier Twin Peaks investigations. Anyway what else... the Tremonds as a young couple, a new host for the MFAP, expanded roles for the Woodsmen, and the return of Chester Desmond (who could still be interpreted as being Cooper).

Sounds cool, Sourdust. If anyone can pull it off, it's you. Feel free to post what you have already done or get inspired to continue it. redroom guy, there is a user on dugpa.com named AudreyHorne that is doing a loooooooong continuation project and its located on one of the TP threads over there.
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this." -Dale Cooper

Audrey, Donna & Bobby have all put their parents in the Ghostwood Retirement Home.
There's a darkness in this suburban development complex!
Wasn't there a Twin Peaks online role-playing message board back in the day? Every person got to write their own character. I seem to recall Laura being an FBI agent. I think they stopped before the series and allowed her to age, or something?
