Just to let everyone know that http://www.endofmedia.com/ has agreed to host my articles from the Black Lodge Encyclopedia. The first entry on Bob has now been posted. The others will follow every other week. Also expect new material to be posted there, most likely articles on Laura Palmer and the locations of Twin Peaks. Regards

And I quote; His interpretations are unusually erudite and illuminating, relying on plain English and common sense, a rarity in Twin Peaks fan writing, which too often mimics the series’ opaqueness and the overt obtuseness of academic writing. Isn't that going out on a limb rather? I've read some of your posts and they were interesting but there was nothing that hadn't been said already (on this board mostly). Twin Peaks fans and genuine academics are more than capable of using plain English and common sense, which reminds me, the line quoted above is an example of (bad) academic writing if ever I saw one. Erudite, opaqueness, overt obtuseness... It's hardly plain English, is it?

Hehe, that part actually struck me as a not-so-veiled way of saying the prose wasn't "brilliant". But seeing as English is only my 2nd language, I take it mostly as a compliment. I think I did contribute some novel ideas, btw. My theory regarding the green ring for instance is pretty solid, as are my thoughts on the Lodge meeting and some of the secondary Lodge spirits. Otherwise I'll admit that my work is mostly one of synthesis, but even then I know of no other website that features articles as wide-ranging and comprehensive as mine.
