Anyone read any or all of these 3 classics on here?

The reviews I have read online consistently say Frankenstein is the hardest one to read because of the gothic style.  Jekyll is really short and Dracula is epistolary (sp?).  Of the 3 stories, Dracula interests me the most.  I am one of those idiots who from time to time refer to Frankenstein as the monster and not the doctor.

The doctor is the real monster.

The doctor is the real monster.

Yep, required reading for my Gothic Lit classes, though I picked up Dracula in 5th grade. They're all great psychological horror. Frankenstein is beautiful.

I've read all three and enjoyed them very much. Frankenstein is probably the best-written of the three, but I enjoyed Dracula more. Probably because I love that character so much.

Funny thing about Dracula and Frankenstein, even though they're both very different from the classic Universal horror films they inspired I still found it impossible not to picture Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff as I read the books (not that that's a bad thing).

I read some of Dracula when I was a teenager.  I kind of liked it.  I have read some of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.  I liked what I read.  I have never read Frankenstein.
