Has anyone else seen all the deleted and extended scenes from Wild at Heart?  I'm a huge WAH fan and have a few comments about these scenes:

1. To start on a positive note: The extra Crispin Glover and Freddie Jones scenes are extremely funny.

2.  Had a major problem with cousin Dell impregnating Lula.  Who thaught Lula would sink that low?  I was glad they took it out of the final cut.

3.  Also, how annoying was Lula?  Sure, she did her share of whining in the movie, but there was a lot more of it in the deleted scenes.

4.  The extra scenes with Reggie and Drop Shadow were really good and would have added to the film.

5.  That scene where Sailor starts hitting on that heroin junkie, when Lula goes to make a quick phone call.  It was so uncharacteristic of the way he treated her in the rest of the movie.  I'm not sure if that's the way he behaved in the book, but I'm glad they cut it out. 

Ben:  "We've laid in a gala reception for your fair-haired boys tonight.  All of Twin Peaks' best and brightest."

Jerry: "We're holding it in a phone booth?"

So yeah, the final cut was more of a romantic and tidy. Perfect love that conquers all.

But for Gifford, Lula was not just a cute nympho. She had a bitchy, rough side, too. And there were many more bumps in that [yellow brick] road.

Thanks for clearing that up with me.  I've not had the chance to read the book yet.  Now, I'm going to have to go out and get it.
