Gainsbourg Restaurant in Seattle (8550 Greenwood Ave) is hosting a one ep per week showing of the series on Tuesdays at 10.  Missed the pilot, but caught ep 1 on the 17th. They have a lovely back hall that's a passable approximation of the red room & a selection of drink specials. I had a Josie (ginger vodka & lemonade) & pondered a Black Lodge (absinthe & Jagermeister...) . The sound was none too good there, so they showed the subtitles. And they're using the Gold Box, but no Log Lady intro,,, hmmmm,,,,,  At  this rate they should be up in the 20s by fest time...

Seattle folks on here have zero excuses

I just want to blackout and have someone have to remind me what irresponsible decisions I made the previous evening

For being lame. I love Seattle, but unless Dave Lynch himself shows up, most everyone would rather just stay in their cozy li'l caves...

Absinthe... the word has been getting on my nerves because of Lucid, the brand new legal absinthe, It still isn't the real thing. Nor is it the first to have claimed to be. The thujone law still hasn't changed. It's a great marketing ploy though. Especially among ookie spookie alcoholics. Here in Denver, the morons are convinced that anything that gets them drunk that says absinthe on the bottle is getting them high, and pay $20 a glass for the piss at the bar.

Luckily, you can buy extract with thujone in it stateside, or import it.  Then add it to vodka or Everclear, and voila. Real absinthe for a fraction of the price.

Or find a bar like the Royal Peacock in Boulder, CO that serves the real shit under the table afterhours.

I work retail which I believe is a perfectly cromulent excuse for my hermitic proclivities, besides it's past my bedtime.  Now if we could get Vera's or Voula's to set up an early a.m. showing...  The coffee is okay but that is a damn fine order of Eggs Benedict in the first case and Hash browns in the second.

By the way OSF sorry I missed you sucking back in Jan.  If it makes you feel any better I regularly blow off friends I've known for years on Saturday nights, it's another work thing.
