I rarely see anything mentioned on here about this segment of the TP 'verse.  What are your thoughts on ITL?  Like it?  Hate it?  I personally thought it made too much of a parody of the TP show itself which I guess was the actual purpose.  I wasn't overly interested in the storylines and the characters Chet, Montana, Emerald, etc.  Just kind of blah to me.

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

Judging by the "selling like hotcakes" responses this thread has received, it's good to know everyone feels the same as me.

I hate to sound like a dick, but it didn't really bother me one way or another. I did like the way that Leo watched it with intent after being shot, and Leland watching it closely after having his "medicine", but the show itself and the events unfolding within it left no lasting impression on me really.

Except for one of the girls (Emerald?) looking like the girl from Saved By The Bell alot. (I'm 25, it was on when i was young. Sue me!)

Saved By the Bell is timeless.  I love the one when Jessie overdoses on speed pills.  And Zack can freeze time.

Is that the one where Cooper bangs her in the pool?

Yes, that was the TP/SBTB crossover Showgirls

Little Cooper entered the pink room but found a little man in there.

I had a friend at school who looked and talked just like Screech, it was fucking scary. People used to always call him Screech until one day he just went totally nuts and layed someone out. Just proper thumped them right in the face.

He still looks like Screech, but his voice has broken and now sounds more like Darth Vader trying to do a screech impression. An he has a beard.

Someone on one of the commentaries said ITL started going too far for just that reason.

I think it's gay and unnecessary, but it's part of Shelly's character (high school dropout housewife sits around watching the daytime soaps.) Production value was  , and it was distracting trying to figure out what was mirroring what and how closely. Just whatever.

Screech served me a beer in a bar after his comedy show.  I didn't tip.

I met Screech at a bar in Boulder called The Root. He was on ecstasy and surrounded by chicks. It was very bizarre.
