Does anyone know why they did not have any audio commentary on any of the episodes. It's really disappointing. There are so many cast and crew that would have done it I'm sure.

No chapter stops, no audio commentary, no wirehangers. Ever.
These are David Lynch's commandments.

i have a friend who i just watched the series with, and he was really excited to take his first steps into the rest of lynch's works, so i lent him mulholland drive. then his xbox crashed halfway through and he got so frustrated trying to find his place in the movie that he gave up

good job making sure your original vision is delivered perfectly, david

If you watch MD on an xbox you can actually control the lesbian scene.

At least you guys have the gold box *Sighs* at this point I'd settle for the silver blue-arsed fly box.

I don't know what country your in, but don't all dvd players play the same dvd's? It seems like you could get it shipped, I'm sure someone sells it where you live.

Only if they're region-free DVD players. Otherwise, you're stuck purchasing from the region your country falls in. One of the biggest f'ing rackets in the DVD industry ever, IMO.

hmm, you know we should all send an email to our new Secretary of State about this abomination. She can fix this.

Isn't the region thing something they'll fix when you buy it if you ask for it?

If you tell me the make and model of your DVD player, i can provide you with a Region 0 hack for it. I've done it with every DVD player i've owned, and loads of my friend's ones. I don't understand why the manufacturers provide the ability to do this, but they do.

It usually involves opening the dvd tray and entering a sequence of numbers. Piece of piss.

Some DVD manufacturers have encoded their discs to not play unless the player is set to Region 1.  Fox does this... it happens with my Family Guy set.  There is a splash screen that comes up and says something like "This player is not configured to play this disc", etc.  One can work around this, of course, by switching to 0 and back, but... ugh, what a pain.  :P
