Something i dont understand which hopefully someone will be able to shed some light on. In Fire Walk With Me, Mike drove upto Leland and laura and shouted 'its him, its your father' meaning BOB was possessing Leland..so why in the series didnt Mike know who BOB possessing and was looking for him to stop him killing further?

Sometimes, when he has nothing better to do, he likes to drive around and state the obvious to people.

That's exactly what i thought. I've come across people like that before, like when i was in my mid-teens and had really long hair, i remember quite vividly a pimped up car pulling up alongside me whilst i was on my way to the shops, the car was filled with 5-6 guys who must have been in their early twenties. The driver, upon winding down the window, leant over and shouted to me "Hey mate! Nice hair!!!". The guy in the passenger seat also looked over at me, smirking. I thanked them and walked on, safe in the knowledge that there really are some nice people out there who are willing to compliment a young man on the state of his hairstyle. Needless to say i spent the rest of the afternoon walking around in a gleeful haze, grinning like the bloody Cheshire Cat. So erm.... yeah, that's probably what Mike was doing alright.

Because Mike had an agreement with Lynch/Frost that Twin Peaks was to be a long television series and he couldn't let the cat out of the bag too soon.
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this." -Dale Cooper
