This has been bugging me for some time. When Pinkle is rehearsing the Miss Twin Peaks contestants, there's a moment where he has them all bend over so he can...well, get a better view. In particular, he seemed to be looking straight at one particular contestant, who was not a regular on the show. She isn't listed in the credits either. I'm asking because I thought she did a decent job in an admittedly small role, and I wondered if she had gone on to do anything else. So...anyone have any ideas about finding out?

Welcome, Mand0s.

Yes, she was a little vampier and right on the count.

It was episode 28 (2.021), her name is not on imdb.

I can ask around for the call sheets, but it might take a while.

Jerry Horne from Twin Peaks Archive might know...

god you're right, it was a minor character in season 2 that didn't make me want to claw my own face off. i didn't think that was possible.

There were some interesting characters in Season 2.  Good ole boy Judge Sternwood and Zork fan Harold Smith.

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

While we're on the subject of obscure TPverse characters, my Holy Grail is to find out who played Fred Truax in the Pilot.

those are real characters. i mean the minor ones like nicky's case worker, the awful conceirge who audrey takes over for, and the chick who works at the great northern who knows about MT wentz (yes i will forget her name every time she comes up!)

as opposed to great season 1 incidental characters like trudy and mr. neff.

I thought it was a beautiful thing seeing Molly Shannon in a dramatic role.

Apparently the subtext and nuances of Superstar were lost upon you.

Now, getting back to the crux of the matter, do you think Harold Smith had a large library of Infocom games in his residence or do you believe he stuck more to the turnbased tabletop roleplaying of Dungeons and Dragons?

I agree.  He would have had to put on several hats (Dungeon Master, Role Player, Etc.).  With an Infocom game, he could have played on his own.  His computer screen looked a little something like this-

OPEN MAILBOX

The mailbox opens and a golden key lies within.

TAKE KEY

You pick up the key.

WALK NORTH TOWARDS HOUSE

*these are the type of things that allowed Harold to go backdoor with Laura

Yes - I'd love to find out who played these people from the pilot:

Police Officer - "Is their a Bobby Briggs in this classroom?"

Fred Truax

Engineer - "What the hell"

Doctor's Assistant - "I have to apologize again for the fluorescent lights. I ... I think its a bad transformer."

Bob - "Julie, the Norwegians are signing the contracts at four o'clock. When Mr. Horne returns, make sure that they do not hear about Laura Palmer's death. That will blow the whole deal, got it?"

Nurse - "Mrs. Horne it might help if you talk to Johnny yourself."

Are we talking about her? I don't know. One of my projects is to compile a list of all the minor parts that don't show up in IMDB. Angel, I think J.E. owns a set of Jula's production Bibles. Maybe he knows? I've always had a crush on the girl behind her in solid blue :) Gotta love Donna smoking during this scene!

Thanks for the welcome, 12rainbow and thank you all for the replies.

Jerry, that is the girl I have in mind (though I certainly wouldn't complain if we could identify the girl in blue as well).

I remember when this episode was first broadcast and getting confused as she is a dead ringer for Madchen from that angle.

Holy crap!  Thanks Jerry and Dugpa!  My Twin Peaks life is complete now.

"So Dan, how did you prepare yourself mentally for the pivotal role of mill worker fired by that b*tch Catherine?"

I was counting on it. I just have more urgent concerns that asking, and he likely has more urgent concerns than looking. We'll find out eventually. Can you wait 20 more years? j/k

If you can just bear with me a moment, I will ask G.W. and D.X. which will get me in contact with K.A.
