"The worlds is supposed to be full of possibilities, but they narrow down to pretty few, in most personal experience.  There's lots of good fish in the sea-maybe!  But the vast masses seem to be mackerel or herring, and if you're not mackerel or herring yourself, you are inclined to find very few good fish in the sea." -  D. H. Lawrence in Lady Chatterley's Lover

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer." - P. Atreides

"Mr. Tagomi thought, Spoiled. My chance at nirvana. Gone. Interrupted by that white barbarian Neanderthal yank. That subhuman supposing I worked a child’s puerile toy.

Rising from the bench he took a few steps unsteadily. Must calm down. Dreadful low-class jingoistic racist invectives, unworthy of me." - Philip K. Dick in The Man in the High Castle

there is nothing but a spiritual world - what we call "the world everyone knows and lives in", this is according to the spiritual world the meaning of the word "evil" and what we call "evil", that is according to the spiritual world but a mere temporal necessity. living in the strongest light one may dissolve the world entirely. but before weak eyes she (the world) becomes solid, before even weaker eyes she grows fists and finally, before the weakest, she even becomes pudent and crushes everyone that dares looking at her.

in wikiquote it's translated as:

there is nothing besides a spiritual world; what we call the world of the senses is the Evil in the spiritual world, and what we call Evil is only the necessity of a moment in our eternal evolution. one can disintegrate world by means of very strong light. for weak eyes the world becomes solid, for still weaker eyes it seems to develop fists, for eyes weaker still it becomes shamefaced and smashes anyone who dares to gaze upon it.

from franz kafka, aphorism #54 of "observations about sin, passion, hope and the way of the true" (i'd say)

Sounds like your mental health worker needs a mental health worker.

skylar grey - invisible (posted it somewhere else 5 secs ago, but it will get deleted there soon, iirc, so i post it here again and so it's not a double-post.

edit: i cannot post this without posting, too: casper - michael x (lyrics in german, but why shouldn't you watch it?). brittantje husum. that boat exists, have looked it up. still it has some kind of mystery around itself, the mere words, i mean. whatever.

skylar grey ... it was like when i originally met my annie blackburn. she looked like me, just the sex was different, those rags, colorful, she wore, like i did. and then skylar grey: why? because my clothes are 60% grey, the rest is dark blue and black. i always go for grey. and then, suddenly, this vid: like seeing her for the first time. a girl that looks exactly like myself, like a doublet.

 whatever.
