Gold Edition missing scene? |

I just got the Twin Peaks Gold Box Edition for xmas and have watched through the first 10 episodes. However, I am confused because I can't seem to find the scene in which Cooper has been shot and is visited by the giant for the first time. Episode 7 ends with Cooper being shot, and then I thought that in episode 8 he was left lying on the floor with the room service guy bringing him milk and the giant appearing and giving him the three clues and taking his ring. Am I crazy or has anyone else encountered this problem?

I've heard other people on the net missing scenes as well. This gold set seeems to be plagued with problems... 3 of my discs are scratched and skip, some people can't navigate the menus on the discs and others seem to have trouble locating missing scenes.

It's a missing chapter stop. Don't skip the credits, fast forward them. You'll find the scene is there.

I have not had that problem, but with some discs, clicking on an individual episode (rather than Play All) take me to a screen asking if I want Log Lady Intros or not (not, please) however, there is no way to highlight any choice, the DVD menu gets stuck and I have to go back to the main. Grr!
