Hi everyone! I'm putting up the new (simplified) site. It kinda kills me to launch this thing halfway, but whatever -y'all have waited long enough! I've cut it down to the bare bones so that I can share the California locations with you. For now, the site will contain only then and now photos of each location. In the coming months I will continue to add great new stuff and make it more user friendly. In an attempt to save time and finally just put this mother up, I've scrapped rollover effects and various other dynamic do-dads. Here's how it works, for now... Simply click on any of the location names and that'll take you to that location's page, then, if you want to go back to the main list, just press on the intwinpeaks banner at the top, or press back on your browser. Also, there are two pages for the Great Northern Hotel. The second page can be accessed by clicking on any of the photos on the first Great Northern page. Okay, thanks so much for your patience and support! The site'll be up very soon... probably today. Charles

Ohhhhhh! You made it out to Jacques' cabin! It's a treasure, isn't it?
And I like the name "owl pipe." It just gave me the urge to smoke out of it.
You couldn't have picked a better background. I'm bookmarking this :D

Charles, this wasn't all done in that same California trip when you were here with Travis, Brian and Josh, was it? Amazing photos and excellent corresponding shots. Susan

Susan,
Hello again! Yes the photos were all taken on that same trip. I didn't stop for three days straight!

Thanks so much everyone! I'm so glad that I could finally share these with you. Soon, I'll add descriptions and the stories behind the locations... plus maps, screen caps from each episode, scripts, and outtakes of the surrounding areas ---many of which are very surprising, and tons of other stuff! In July, I plan to go to Washington and I'll photograph a few more series locations and the FWWM locations. I can't wait! Until then, expect more additions to intwinpeaks.com and a more user-friendly layout and smoother navigation. -Charles P.S. Several people have asked about the puddle in my photo of Glastonberry Grove... My friend and fellow T.P. location detective, Travis, and I filled the existing (though empty) recess in the ground (still there from 1990!) with water from the nearby pond so it would show up in the photos. Otherwise, it wouldn't have really registered on camera.

I hope this means you'll be joining us at the fest this year? Oh come on, there's a giant group hug waiting for you.

Great work! Have you intentionally omitted FWWM places? Just curious. When you include stuff from FWWM there are a bunch more places to take pictures of, and luckily most are in Washington. :)
If you're just sticking with the series, when you visit Washington be sure to at least get the following:
Briggs Home (exterior... seen in daylight in Ep3, and in rain at night when Briggs disappears), I think the interior of the garage of this place was used for the location where the filmed Laura meeting up with Bobby on the Couch in FWWM.
Hayward House exterior (pilot, FWWM) and interior (Pilot... not sure about FWWM) Calhoun Memorial Hospital exterior and Horne's Department store exterior are in Washington as well. I think Horne's is in Seattle somewhere... Josh knows I think. As for the Hospital, I'm not sure anyone knows where that is.
As Amanda already said, would be great to see you at a Fest :) Again, great stuff!

Jared, Thanks for the praise, and for the advice! I haven't omitted the FWWM locations for any particular reason. I was just always more focused on the series when I was out there getting pictures and made that my primary focus. However, now that I've photographed most of those, I'm so excited to focus on FWWM! Hey, too bad about the number 6. I regret not photographing that sooner! Any updates on that at all? Luckily, I already have photos of the Palmer exterior from the film as well as the Hayward's... knowing, of course, that they were used as interiors for the pilot. Also, I've had time time to do some research and I've found where the Town Hall, the Briggs', Horne's and Calhoun were filmed, so they'll be part of my schedule for the upcoming trip as well as all the FWWM stuff. I would love to come to the fest... especially to meet all you guys... I'll see if it's in the cards for me -finacially. Wish me luck! Charles

More great pictures! The current Glastonberry Grove photo confirms my suspicion that the 12 sycamore trees were likely cheap props bought at the local Home Depot. They should have been big and majestic. Instead, they looked like they would break in half if Cooper had backed into one. Hope you can make it to the festival this year, Charles. It'd be great to see you again, and great to have another representative from the East Coast.

You wanted an update on the number 6? I was there last month and they have the entry to the trailer park roped off with NO TRESPASSING signs.
As a fan, I would hesitate to even return to that site.

12 apparently eats, drinks, breathes, and sleeps Twin Peaks and David Lynch. I liken her to some sort of mad adventurer because she is bouncing around all over the states every weekend. I wish my job would allow me to do the same.

i just thought she was an east-coaster, so i was confused i am not ashamed to admit that i just bounce out to north bend to look at the falls or go to the many wonderful dive bars on a fairly regular basis, which is easy to do when you're only 1/2 hour away. it's not like i run around with a camera or anything, but there's definitely a part of me that hopes i'll accidentally stumble into the pink room by accident :)

The Dec North Bend trip was kind of a spontaneous cute thing my new Fest friend did for me one of the times I visited. It's something we have in common, and it's where we met, so... (I live in Denver, btw)

You don't have to tell me that. ;) I never got PFD this year- we just kept the party going. Plus, I figured I'd better go since I won't be at the 09 Fest, if life goes my way.
