That 1990-vintage CD sound is pretty flat to modern ears. Any chance of a re-release?

I'm not sure if there is a high demand for that product. My big concern is how much, if any, new TP products will come out in the future.

If not a CD, how about at least making re-mastered tracks available for MP3 download through Amazon or iTunes? That would be a much cheaper option. IMO, if there's a market for a Season Two soundtrack, there should be some interest in the original tracks with in a better-sounding CD transfer.

It would be great if they'd remaster all of the music and release a 2- or 3-disc "Complete Music from Twin Peaks" set. There is probably very little demand for such a release, though.

There'd be no point remastering the album to release as a digital download because the files would have to be compressed before they were uploaded anyway (nobody sells CD quality files).

Sort of on this subject, does anyone know if there were US pressings of any of the Twin Peaks soundtracks on vinyl? I've seen expensive European pressings of Season 1 on eBay, but nothing from the US so far.
