amanda's fun outfits

LOL I'm not sure if you're referring to the sequins, the wizard sleeves, the low-cut necklines, or the really wacky patterns, but I'll accept it. Although the interview portion of the documentary has me looking exceedingly adult...something I didn't intend (I hadn't realized I was coming across so businesslike. I just wanted to not be a spaz and talk with my hands like I always do...combination of self-control plus conservative layered Lane Bryant ensemble = MOM).

Hmmm... little side question here:  I am curious as to how many people here agree that the Badalamenti narration of the writing of Palmer's Theme was "mesmerizing," and in what way?

Did it not come off as completely self indulgent autofellatio to anyone else?  Repleat with cumshot?

"Oh Angelo, that's beautiful!  You're tearin my heart out!  Now bring it to some kind of clima---AAH!AAAOOOWWW!!  OOOoohhhh...  aaahh...  Let me go get you a towel..."

Napkin!

And if it's autofellatio, who is he talking to?

Well, he was trying to recreate the atmosphere when he and David created the theme! There weren't other ways of doing that. Btw, I know what you mean by self-indulgent. But that's a mistake. Most musicians when they are seen at work or when they just talk about their work have a certain tone that seems self-indulgent, but it is not. It's just that they speak a different language

QUOTE:Lynch and Badalamenti were early adopters of the term "bromance"

"That's beautiful, Angelo!  You're tearin' my heart out!" has become a new catch-phrase between myself and my best friend (we've got a bromance of our own going on).

I think it's priceless.  Over-the-top, verging on self-parody, but obviously utterly sincere and artistically eloquent.  Very Lynch, in other words!
