Remember the scene in ep.1 where Norma finds Nadine buying cotton balls in a store? Well, rewatching it I noticed a sign in the background reading "Santa Anita Family Service"... I googled that and I found their website and a couple of addresses, both, obviously, from California... I tried the first one in Google Earth and Street View and well, check this out:

Note the windows across the street:

And across the street from Santa Anita Family Service we can see a toy store, most likely the one where they shot the scene.

The address is: 603 S. Myrtle Ave Monrovia, Ca

The captures don't tell much, so check Google Earth and your DVD and you'll be thrilled with this! Actually not really, but you'll waste your time with something useless and TP related...and that's something... Maybe some of you guys knew about this location, but I must admit I was surprised with my "discovery".

Great research! I just love the way Nadine says "cotton balls." Like there's a big space between the two words :)

she was on an episode of DS9

then again that's generally true of every single twin peaks cast member: "they went on to do an episode of DS9/x-files"

Norma has great reactions to Nadine's craziness

"Norma! What are you doing here?"
"Well I could ask you the same question."

What TP actors were on DS9?  I've seen the entire series, best Trek IMO.  It's been a long time and I don't remember.

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

Who can forget Ed & Nadine turning up as our favorite crazy incest couple kidnappers in The People Under The Stairs?

Ray Wise was in an episode of Voyager (Hope and Fear)... but that's hardly worth mentioning....  And he plays a really insufferable Vulcan-like preindustrial malcontent in an ep of TNG (who watches the watchers).

David Warner played a Cardassian Gul in the TNG episode Chain of Command where Picard is "interrogated."

Um... Nicole deBoer has kind of a Sheryl Lee aesthetic going on...  ;)

Amen to that. They shoulda just killed off Dax entirely. Even the Doctor doesn't get infinite regenerations...

the worst part was how many 7th season episodes focused on her to try to establish her as a legit character, when they should've been busy making more garak episodes

i firmly believe that the post-2005 who will never have the balls to address the "12 regenerations" thing, and we'll see a 14th with nary an explanation. i mean i'm FINE with that (it's pretty easy to explain away as "the time war changed things) but i'm a little sad that the new show doesn't do more continuity-hookering

Yes, there should have been far more Garak episodes, especially towards the end. He is hands-down one of the best characters in Trek history.

Richard Beymer had a three episode arc on Deep Space Nine as a Bajoran war "hero" who supposedly killed a Cardassian war criminal in a brutal fight to the death; in reality, he was a cowardly refugee who stumbled across the Cardassian taking a bath in a river, panicked, and shot him. He eventually becomes a real hero by giving his life to save Sisko. The bummer is that Beymer was slated to become a cast member, but show runner Ira Behr thought that he would be too expensive an addition to the cast.

Here's a pic of Beymer as Nalas; funny how with the jacket and "I smell something" expression he looks pretty much like Ben Horne was a messed up nose:

Another trivia challenge: Who's ended up on the CSI franchise? I know James Marshall was in an episode about a weird evidence gaffe during a murder trial resulting in a last-minute re-opening of an old case; and Sherly Lee turned up on the sister show "Without a Trace" as a woman whose recently outed husband vanished following his high school reunion.

I think Sherilyn Fenn also ended up in the CSI franchise, but I'm not sure. I'm sure I'm refraining on this, but both Madchen Amick and Sherilyn Fenn had consistent roles on Gilmore Girls and Dawson's Creek. Dawson's Creek also had Dana Ashbrook playing a pretty much important role in the Pacey plotline. He played his broker-boss.
