Here's the link...

As always, I remain heavily skeptical until the DVD is in my hot little hands. This isn't the first time we've heard this noise from Lynch.

You can adjust it in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Just right-click on the file and select "Open With" and then choose Microsoft Office Picture Manager. At the top of the window you click "Edit Pictures" and then you'll get a menu of editing options on the right-hand side. You can either crop it or resize it. Your choosing. :)

Yeah, it sucks ass that we've gotten this kind of news repeatedly over the years. I mean, I don't think Lynch would BS about something like that. It's just that both him and M2K have tried to get the ball rolling in the past, only to end up dropping it due to disagreements. Roller coaster. Of course, none of us will sneeze at it when they do finally hit DVD. :D We'll probably buy multiple copies each, just to be on the safe side.

Thanks, I think this might be legit though since the Gold Box is a success? When a product is successful and there is more stuff to create for fans to buy, they usually will always make that item.

If they do release the deleted scenes, do you think they'll make a long version of the film which has all the deleted scenes interspersed? That would be really cool.

Following the proven TP/DL marketing strategy, FWWM will be released in 17 different special editions, each containing a different deleted scene and each distinctly packaged in a classic Crayola crayon color box and retailing for $49.99.

No, the deleted scenes will be on the Doo Doo Brown Box set which will contain a mystery disc of Lynch reading the paper, talking to the camera, and defecating and will retail for $399.99.

I think they should include the deleted scenes on one disc and the regular movie on another. Then Lynch should screw with everyone by getting a few of the actors back together to film some two minute scene which nullifies everything that has been speculated for the past 18 years. U know like Andy really did it.

The recession affecting the release of the deleted scenes? Give me a break... We've been waiting for years! Now, ok, *there is* recession, but blame it of everything, including things like that is just...idiotic. The other day I read that the sudden cancellation of the latest LOST's ARG was also caused by the recession...and now this...

So at least the recession has some benefits....

I don't care for these deleted scenes anymore. I couldn't see a different cut of the movie by now.Plus, I had to buy FWWM twice. the first time it was a bad quality DVD, the second time it was the right one. I am not very likely to spend other money, if it ever makes it to Italy.

The first Italian DVD release of Fire Walk With Me was ridiculous. I bought it in Rome to add to my harem of David Lynch DVDs and it looks worse than VHS.

I don't care how long I have to wait for the Fire Walk With Me deleted scenes, or how much they cost. For me personally they can only be a good thing.

In Spain we have a very decent edition... It's the MK2 transfer, there's an audio commentary done by the Sitges film festival director, a book detailing the deleted scenes and the shooting script, "Pretty as a Picture" and other stuff...

I'm very, very happy with it, but yeah...no deleted scenes, the commentary is done by someone who looks like he's been digging stuff about TP and Lynch from somewhere and doesn't have genuine knowledge and I'm still wondering what (as good as it is) "Pretty as a Picture" is doing in this DVD instead in the "Lost Highway" one the same company (Cameo) distributed at the same time...

Don't get me started on that one. The movie looks horrible, all de-satured, with many many old-looking things I don't wanna recall. But the proper american release, the one which I presume was restored, looks good but hasn't a single extra and not even an animated menu or a trailer. So, now I got the new DVD and the old one, which is bad quality but has a 30-minute long interview with the TP cast, plus the trailer and a superior Italian audio track if compared to the next release which was plain stereo. Right now, for Christmas I'm getting the TP Gold edtion box and by then I'll be owning both the first DVD editions and the complete box. I hear they have different extra features, am I right?

The only other thing I bought twice was Mulholland Drive. First of all, my first bought DVD was so freaking used, because I watched it over and over and over, and I was fearing some day it was going to become unwatchable, so when the 2 disc special edition came out, I couldn't resist. The extras on DISC 2 are a much longer version of the B-roll thing on the first disc, then they put a horrible Italian trailer with voices different from the voice actors used in the actual film, then there is a double interview with Mary sweeney and Angelo Badalamenti. I like that, especially the second part where Baddy plays MD's theme on piano. The rest was already there the first time, if I remember correctly. My harem of Lynch DVDs ends there. All the other DVDs are good enough for me and they are kept in almost-pristine conditions.

About the deleted FWWM scenes, if they ever get released of course I will be pleased (if the DVD makes it to Italy), but I don't think they will do something like More things that happened. They will be looking sort of bad and all of them will be disjointed.

If these deleted scenes see the light of day, i feel that the world will implode in on itself.
