I finally got my dirty little hands on an other issue of WIP (#53) and really enjoyed the long article on the last eps of Twin Peaks. It´s really interesting.

I read something there that I don´t recall us discussing before -or maybe we did ages ago... anyway..

The author comes up with a small theory on what happened in FWWM when Cooper walks back and forth between the monitor and the security camera. You know when the image of Cooper sticks to the screen after he goes back to the monitor.

The author thinks that this is a way to foreshadow Coopers division in the Black Lodge in the last eps. Even when he sees Jefferies on the screen and runs back to the office, he pauses (in quite a rediclulous way I have always thought) as if he joins his other body (doppleganger) again.

I really like this theory. It seems so obvious but I have never thought of it until I read it in WIP.

What do you guys think?

A forshadowing, only, yes.   Like Coop you are heading into a, for want of a better term, dangerous trip .

I've always thought those images were related too but never made more of it since I don't know how to formulate a good enough theory to come up with a valid argument yet.  And especially the clock and date in Gordon's Office when Cooper and Jeffries go back into the room, you think he is or could be in two places at once maybe?

"watch out for my cousin.."
