Yeah, I know in advance that im clutching at straws here...and that "dreams" or "mindscape" scenes are not unusual or original, and not every sinlge thing in TV has been inspired by TP...but...

In the latest episode of Heroes (as much loathed as it is loved..like twin peaks was during its airing!) called "It's Coming", telepath Matt Parkman dives inside semi-comatose Angela Petrelli's mind in order to rescue her.  What unfolds is a brief scene with trippy, psychic elements, that reminded me of the Black Lodge sequence from TP ep 29...so, in place are: non natural movements;  a stabbing from a kitchen knife;   a doppelganger of a young woman (the character of daphne); who then morphs into an antagonistic male (Arthur Petrelli); Matt lying on the floor bleeding, then recovering, etc etc...so yeah, whilst i know im lookin for things that arent there, the things i listed jus reminded me of the black lodge...any thoughts? (and like i keep saying, yes i know that the writer was unlikely inspired at all by twin peaks or the red room etc etc!!!)

I definitely thought the same things, dude. You're not alone.

In season 2 of Heroes there was another similar episode, which I don't remember the title of, in which Matt Parkman traces the "nightmare man" through little Molly and finds out it's his own estranged father (Maury), who entraps him and Nathan Petrelli in a nightmarish dimension, where Nathan fights his own blown-up-in-the-face doppelganger and Matt fights his demons (the wife and  children he left).

In that scene the woman with the baby walked towards Matt but it looked like they shot the scene while she walked backwards and then they reversed it to make the movements strange. Also the prison guard who talks to Matt speaks backwards-ish.
