Hello, a while back I posted a link to an arrangement I did on the Twin Peaks Theme for guitar. I much appreciate all the nice feedback I got! Here´s the Love Theme arranged similarly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2A6vBlQTyQ For those interested, the TAB for Twin Peaks Theme is available at http://www.tallstrom.com under Downloads (Free) Thanks! /Martin

i second that! gorgeous interpetation martin, i actually really like the chorus down an octave. i still havent got the bari i was talking about, supposedly danelectro has had to refuse parts because of quality. but no ones saying anything. its strange. anyway, because i that, i havent had a chance to work on your previous video because of lack of bari. i could of sworn, tho maybe i forgot, that i asked when you say G6 tuning, do you mean tune the bari in a way relative to how G6 is tuned on the guitar (5th and 6th strings down a whole step, etc.) or tune to open G6 as it would be on a baritone, which im assuming would start with the 5th and 4th down a whole step, and leaving the low B instead of tuning it down a whole step(which would add a wierd 2nd in the bass)? im the thinking its the later. do you understand what i mean?

Thank you guys - so glad you enjoyed it! Sorry to hear about the bari, hope you get it soon. And, about the tuning, you´re correct. 5th and 6th strings down a whole step. Many asked me about a tab for standard guitar so I wrote it that way. (Btw, there are no left/ right hand fingerings added, so the video would have to serve as a guideline.) Thanks again Martin

It could have been... but I wanted to make things more confusing... :) To get in the key of Fmajor but to avoid having to play too high up on the neck (no cut-away) I gained one fret by tuning the guitar a half-step up (a quite common baritone tuning I´ve come to understand, to have the lowest string tuned to C) so without the capo but with the dropped strings: Bb Eb Bb Eb G C open Eb6-tuning, and with the capo 2nd fret: C F C F A D open F6 tuning
Hope that helped! But, I guess, as long as you have that form of an open 6th-chord it could be played in any key using the same tab - then it´s more a question of where one thinks it sounds the best.

thats right, i think you did say when you first posted the theme video that you were tuned a half step up because i asked about the capoing and chord forms which didnt line up with the standard G6 tuning. but yeah, you could play it in any position as long as you have the G6 tuning in relation. depends on the guitar too. ill have a little cutaway on the danelelectro, so i could just capo the third fret and not having to up a half step, which on some elecrics, will screw with overall intonation. i think i got it now. and am going to go over the love theme when i next get a chance. again, wonderful arrangements and renditions of these songs. i hope more are to come. thanks for the help.
