 one of my favorite subtle things in the show is this paraphrased scene--

catherine: in spite of everything i was kind of fond of josie

harry: well, she was so very beautiful

catherine: *doesn't say anything, looks at harry like he's 3 years old and just shit his pants*

on a similar note, there were a couple parts in Dark Knight where people talked about maggie gyllenhall being beautiful and i snickered each time. between her and katie holmes, bruce wayne clearly has a thing for flat-faced stroke victims i guess

i think Joan Chen looks like a guy, even with long hair. i'd say Sheryl Lee looks good maybe half the time, best in the picnic film, senior photos, and dead at the beginning of the pilot.

Sherilyn and Madchen are tops. Peggy Lipton gets honorable mention.

the chick who played Nadine makes me ill.

Lana's hair really sucked. 80's poodle perm, in V8 orange. She should have had a sleek, platinum coif like Marilyn in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, because she's got that upturned nose and baby-talk thing going on.

Joan Chen has the best mouth out of all of them. Peggy Lipton had the most elegant carriage.

She was also in Storyville with James Spader and Piper Laurie, which was directed by Mark Frost.

Testify. Audrey was just a tease through most of the show, and then she got all emotional her first time (boner-killer!) Shelly is a straight-up freak, guns and whiskey. Making out with Gordon in front of her man.
