I was surprised to see Blue Velvet is on tonight on ITV1 here in the UK. I am not aware that such a mainstream, popular channel has shown the film before. I know BBC2 and Channel 4 here have shown the film, but ITV1 is watched by more viewers. Just goes to show something I suppose - I can't ever see INLAND EMPIRE shown in the same spot. Hopefully it will intrigue enough people who aren't aware of Lynch's films and tv.

Did you see that Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse show the other day? They did a scene that was sooooo David Lynch. I think.
