I watched this for the first time this weekend and had low expectations so I wasn't disappointed.

The Darkened Room - I thought this would be better with the 2 hotties from Cabin Fever, but it was dull and ended abruptly.  Is this related to INLAND EMPIRE in some way?

Boat - Okay.  Lynch looked funny steering the boat and the water shots were pretty cool.

Lamp-Might be my favorite.  Loved watching Lynch with all of that Fix-All and colors.  I also love his teeth, smoke breaks, and caffeine intake.  I could watch him do anything and he can make it interesting.

Industrial Soundscape - If you are having trouble falling asleep or want to go into a trance, watch this.

The Bug Crawls? - Fairly entertaining. 

Neighbor Boy!  - This one was goofy with their voices and the be's.  Not sure about this one.

Invalometer Readings?- Pretty interesting in a Lynchian way.

Questions - Love listening to Lynch talk and smoke.  Interesting his favorite music piece is Strauss from Wild at Heart.

Is Absurda going to make another one of these?  Best of DL.com 2?

 I wish David Lynch would take me into the night like he did in Boat.  Albie would go too.

What on earth was that section with the oriental woman and bananas at the beginning of Darkened Room?

I always considered Dynamic 01 to be one of the best DVD ever from David Lynch, and I can hardly wait for a second volume to come out, which I guess will never see the light of day since the first one has been so loathed.

It's a shame, really, since these experiments are actually more important still than many of his feature films, they are the true core of his work, where it all began. It is and will always be important to be remembered of trial and error in any artist's work. We so often content oneself with a complete piece of work that we have reached a point where smallest scale experiments doesn't matter anymore.
