"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

Hang on, didn't you say horsefaces weren't sexy just a couple of days ago?

I don't think she has a horseface at all.  You have to examine her body of work and the amount of passion she throws into it.

Getting my favorite seat on the bus, back row, starboard.  Most room, best view.

Getting my favorite seat on the bus two days running!

The humming bird that serenades me while I'm waiting for the bus,  from the same branch, three days out of five.

Sid Meier's  Civilization IV: Colonization (Computer game.)

Nightwatch (Book.)

The end of election season being less than a week away.

Civ4 Colonization is good?  Unfortunately I have a Mac, so haven't been past Civ 4 Vanilla...

To contribute:

my Cal Bears winning yesterday.

Finally some rain out here!

I'm enjoying C4C so I guess it is good by my standards.  What it seems to be is a more tactical take on the theme of CIV4 while remaining a turn based strategy game, the graphics are all but identical to CIV4. I've not actually finished a game yet, but that is how I am.  I guess that people have issues with the fact that there is only one way to win, fight your war of independence.   It is also apparent that depending of the strategy you take during the early and middle parts the final conflict may be more or less difficult.  But whatever, like I say I like it.

Getting my third favorite seat on the bus (New Flyer model), in back of the rear exit.  Plenty of room, view not so great.

The possibility that we may have fully functioning plumbing when I get home tonight.

The end of another election cycle.

Having a whole two or three weeks before it all starts over again.

Small cats.

Living where I live.

Rain.

The view of Mount Rainer from the Magnolia Bridge, particularly when the mountain is wreathed in clouds and back lit by a late autumn, late morning sun.

Magical, foggy days like Sunday, particularly along the Alaska Way Viaduct north bound where you could see about a block and a half on the right and maybe ten feet on the left but most particularly crossing the Ballard bridge with the western two thirds of Ballard gone and a trough of deep fog following the ship canal.

Crossing the Ballard locks when the water is flowing at full spate.

Crossing the Ballard Locks when they have the big Lock drained for maintenance so you can get a look at just how deep it really is.

I almost forgot;

The painting on the window of a certain world famous novelty emporium  which now reads 'Welcome to Christmas Town (I think) but for many months said 'Welcome To Twin Peaks Archie McPhees'

The fact that 'Christmas Town' looks very much like the Great Northern W/falls.

Sparks the Cat, one of our shop cats.  He has this trick where he will rear up on his hind legs to rub his head against your hand if you hold it down toward him.  He has a variation, that I've only seen him try with me, where he seems to reach up with his paws to grab my hand (no claws) to pull it down toward his head.

Reese's Crispy Crunchs Bars

The fact that Reese's ELVIS Peanut Butter and Banana Creme Cups existed for a brief time, even though they were horrible
