there are some of the same characters, it would appear. the place where jeffries lives inside a dream with those people, they appear in the forbidden zone (very near the beginning). most notably the lumberjack looking fellow with the long black beard, red docker hat, and black eyes(?). isnt that weird?

Well I'm sorry but I don't completely understand what you mean by this. The person in the "convenience store" scene with the beard is known as the First Woodsman. Were you pointing out his resemblance to another character? Possibly the man who is fixing the electric light outside Hap's Diner in Deer Meadows, when the two FBI agents are there? If so, I think this is probably just a coincidence.
