Since people on here has been talking about episode 2 so much, I thought I would rewatch it, although I watched it not long ago. But I never watched it like this before. When it came to scene with Cooper in his room. I felt like I was caught up to a different place. It didn't seem like a dream. It was something else. I felt like I was actually there. This did not take too long, but felt long. It only took a few minutes, but felt like at least a day. Where I seemed to be was on the Twin Peaks set. I was not sure, and I could not tell you much about it. The only thing I could tell you about it was that Kyle Maclachian seemed very happy to see me. He was wearing a blue shirt and I think I gave him a cup of coffee. It seemed like I was a production assistant of some kind. Where ever this was, because some of it felt real and some of it didn't. Kyle seemed to be taking a break from his Cooper character. But he seemed to be very excited about what was behind a large pine door. (wishful thinking would be another Twin Peaks movie :) Anyway, he was very excited and I felt like it had something to do with David Lynch. I then could feel the 90's. I don't know how to describe it, but every thing felt 90's. Like I was there. Not just one year but the entire decade. Like I could feel Pulp Fiction, and Green Day and Dr. Dre. etc... And no, I wasn't smoking or drinking anything, LOL. :)

Kevin you may have had a vivid daydream. I watched Lost Highway a couple weeks ago. The movie and the soundtrack evoked good memories of the mid nineties, but that is all.

I dunno Jim I just think you should maybe get out more often. If this experience had have been triggered by drugs or drink I'd prob not be so cheeky and understand the point a little more. At least if you and your friends were getting high and sharing this experience, some form of healthy social interaction would be going on. The fact remains though that this 'experience' happened to, I'm guessing somebody at least in their mid-twenties, alone, and stone cold sober, which is pretty sad. I don't have fear I'm just annoyed that a grown up person wasted their time sharing this experience with the rest of us in public. At least bobbette is a teenager and her attention seeking can be put down to youth and should probably grow out of it. You only get one life Kevin and I'm afraid that indulging in this nonsense is wasting it. I don't post on here much any more as other than the Twin Peaks section, the board is quite inactive and nothing catches my imagination or irks me enough to post here, so at least congratulations are in order for that!

First off I don't care about your attention. There use to be a dream section on here and if it would have been on here I would have posted it there. Although I don't think it was a dream. Why would someone else's experience annoy you? I don't think drugs are healthy, social or mature. I have seen to many people die from them including my uncle. I don't need drugs to have experiences. And neither does anyone else. Not that I am judging people who use drugs or drink. Just saying that I have seen a lot of people die from it.

Come on, folks. Play nice. There's no harm in Kevin sharing his vision with us. If you disagree or have an opinion on the matter, at least find a more genial way to express it. (I know, I haven't always been the picture of geniality myself...)

I think it's possible that a movie or a song suddenly brings you back in a certain period. I know it's difficult to explain. It has nothing to do with drugs or anything similar! It's just how much pathos you feel inside for example for the movie you're watching. Also matters what that period means to you.

I'm all for the discussion of dreams. I am a firm believer that your dreams are trying to tell you something about your waking life. But when you are so bored with your waking life that during it you think your actually in a Lynch dream sequence giving cooper (but not cooper) a cup of coffee, then a visit to a doctor may be overdue. I just can't get my head around this behaviour at all, I'm sorry.

Kevin, I found it an interesting post so thanks for sharing. Are you in your twenties as suggested before, if that's not such a personal question? I'm early thirties incase you want to know!?! It's interesting because I can't say I've had a similar experience. It even sounds like you may have fell asleep for a short time. I do know that males in their 20s can often have strange experiences to some extent...well, I'd need to study this more. But it can of course be related to stress, anxiety and stimulants, general well-being.

Kevin6002, you may want to seek out poster albie for an extensive analysis of Lynchian dreams.
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this." -Dale Cooper
