Some time ago I made a thread about this movie, asking if someone had any information on "that" scene.
I had a look back in the archives, but it seems to have vanished.
But some kind soul has posted it on YouTube: Have a look

unless i totally missed the sarcasm in your post logichat, i dont mean to be a stickler, but that film was made in 1966. but you are right, there are MANY details that went into ep.29. i wouldnt doubt lynch or frost had seen this.

Oh yes, they most definately saw it -Cooper running from his doppleganger was a direct homage to this film by Mario Bava. I love this 1966 movie and it's cheap on DVD.

Strictly ironic. Though a number of TP fans tend to think that way, so it's often hard to tell the difference. I'd say Lynch probably saw this, 'cause Frost's script handled the Lodge/doppelgangers a lot differently.

sorry about that. its true sadly, it is hard to tell sometimes if people are being sarcastic or not on these message boards. maybe if your emoticon was less serious i wouldve given you more credence(kidding!), altho admittedly i was kinda thinking you were joking anyway because your posts are intelligent(im not trying to kiss your ass or anything, just the facts) and my sarcasm is pretty much the same, so dry its hard to tell if im actually being sacastic. personally, im hoping this is the last stage of irony for our culture, so im doing all i can to help it on its way.

Agreed. I was waiting for the strobe light to take effect. I know this is an older post, but I do recommend others on the board to check it out if you have not seen it.
