Hi there, i got my copy of Twin Peaks the gold collection on ebay, but i think i bought a copy.

my box just seems weird like bad printing, the paramount logo on the side is not centered, it has an episode guide on each side flap inside the box and the printing looks terrible also there seems to be glue on the centre of the dvd on every dvd. and no post cards :(

can someone post a picture of there set

There are tons of pictures on the net of the real box. Have you compared to those?

Post a picture of your box so we all can see.

What region DVD is that?  It sure isn't the Region 1 US DVD.

It's probably fake, but I do like the flaps though. What's the name of the seller?

I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that it is fake at all.

Remember, the postcards were only a limited release. Now they sell the set without the postcards. They've have to redo the box if they take out that initial Postcard area (it was quite thick).

What does the bottom of the case look like? There's no NTSC or Dolby logos or anything? That's where it is with the postcard version.

Underneath the boxset there is nothing at all, its just blank. inside the boxset there is a picture of laura palmer wrapped in plastic and next to her is a picture of bobby briggs and on that picture is says "card 9 of 61"

The sellers name is inspirationalspirit on www.ebay.co.uk

You mean that they've printed a picture of a postcard inside? That doesn't sound right at all. Can you take more pictures of the box?

I'm not an expert but if it says "card 9 of 61" on the picture of Bobby there, it's not a good sign. I find it hard to believe that they would print a postcard inside the box. But then again, I have been surprised before.

But all the signs are there: bad printing, glue on the dvd, postcard printed on the inside, no region etc.

The discs might be real though since they have "region 1" on them. If I were you I would ask the seller if you can send the box back. Then buy a correct box with postcards from another seller or buy from amazon.com, or go to an actual store and buy it there.

Great! Now buy a "real" box ;) I'm not sure how difficult it is to get a box with the postcards. Have a look on ebay and amazon.
