I've just watched it again and I just HAD to post here about it. It is brilliant beyond words. But also, aggravating that it is the last episode. So many new things are introduced that could've given life to years of continuity (the doppelgangers, who's annie etc).

I never thought of that. Cue someone starting a thread about how Lynch stole the idea for the last episode from Michael Jackson.

"What credit card do you want to put that on?"
"Caash, prease."

There's also a line about bloodstains on the carpet.

I only just recently found out that Michael Jackson was cheating when he does that crazy 45 degree lean in Smooth Criminal.  Special shoes, you see.

That was the final straw.  He means nothing to me now.

I think its a very sad scene when Nadine becomes her old self and she remembers her age and who she is...it's almost painful watching.....It's something about illusions being torn apart, and the grey and grim reality come knocking on the door once more......It's one of the sadest moments in TP in one way.....This scene represents a lot of whats going on in TP at the moment....

But at the same time a lot of radically new stuff happens, obviously.....so why the FUCK could it not have been a seson 3?????!!!!! WHY GOD!? WHY?!?!?!?!

This is a sentence and you are reading it now.

"Oh... It's not fair! .... WHERE ARE MY DRAPE RUNNERS!!"

One of my favorite lines in the whole series. Yay, Wendy.

The question is, Where have you gone?

I remember my fascination and frustration when I first watched it back when it originally aired on ABC.  I was mesmerized by the long Red Room scenes but was frustrated glancing at the clock and knowing only a few minutes were left and my favorite TV show of all time was not going to be finished or resolved!

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper
