I have been reading this thread with curiousity and an open jaw.

Maybe I´m just stupid or maybe it´s because English isn´t my first language but I can´t really figure out were you are going with this Bobette.

Is this a cry for help? Or simply attention. Or both?

I can´t tell if you really think you´ve got Frank/Bob there with you, that really have been yelling at "him" or if you just WISH things were this way to make your life a bit more interesting.

Your posts are kind of a mix of fiction and self analysis. When you say that you are not insane it sounds like you want us to tell you that you are insane. Like when I tell my boyfriend that I´m fat, I really want him to confirm me on the fact that I´m not.

Sorry, I don´t mean to sound hostile. Just really curious were this is going and what you want from this/us.

Cry for help?

You know something, I need more than a cry for help....

....A trip to Washington is what I need.

To see if the mysterious Black Lodge is real or not!

(Or to make some Peaker friends at a future Fest, which I don't have outside these boards. Nobody in my world knows about Twin Peaks, and I'm sick of it!)

It's not your English, I can't figure it out either.

Yep, it's not a language issue, Ditte. I'm not sure if Jessica knows what she wants here. I'm certain there are a few members with suggestions, kind ones, I hope...

Hmm, you do realize that Twin Peaks is fiction, right!? Or do you have a hard time distinguishing between reality and fiction?

A lot of us here are fascinated by the world of Twin Peaks. The real world seem so dull and predictable at times so I´m sure a lot of us has had some kind of "wish" that TP was real. That´s how I felt once anyway.

But I can assure you that the BL that David Lynch created in his mind and made visual in the series does not exist!!

I think it´s cool that you turn to a forum like this where you can talk to people who share your fascination, but just so you know, must of us use the Gazette to discuss theories about Twin Peaks and other Lynch films.
I´ve made some great friendships here and I´m very happy with that because there aren´t many people in my RL circle of friends who share this...passion with me.

I don't think BOBette is another Cherry Bomb, Ditte.  Just an imaginative girl.

I personally like this forum because there are a lot of total weirdos here.

Didn't you have a popular youtube video of being Britney Spears number one fan?

"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this."  -Dale Cooper

He's the last guy on the Gold Box festival documentary, to all of our horror, with a typical Cherry Bomb-ism that is completely out of left field that no one understands.  He used to show up at every TP Fest, and boldly ask the actors questions- but address them as their character- generally about his scrambled theories, or invented things he "saw" in the show. It baffles and embarrasses everyone.  He cornered Jennifer Lynch once and asked her about being raped by Leland (or something like that) as if she was Laura.  Total.  Effing.  Nutbar.

That dude might actually be scarier than BOB.  I remember the first time I watched the TP Gold Box set that wacko stuck out like a sore thumb.

Sounds downright scary, 12rainbow I could imagine the look at all of your faces, standing in the  background going Heheee. Poor Jennifer.

No I wasn´t thinking that our Bobette is like that. Sorry Bobettte if it came out that way.

Hey...Wait a minute....

Doesn't my story seem to have similarities to "The Diary Of Laura Palmer?"

(Well, exept for the fact that I'm a brunette, I wear glasses, I'm fat, I'm hairy, I have Asperger Syndrome, I don't do drugs, or drink, or smoke, and I am, and forever will be, a virgin. I'm 17 though, and was born just after the year of Laura's death, 1990, and just started keeping a diary named "Diane," and that's all that matters.)

"The Diary Of Jessica C," or "The Twin Peaks Haunting." Think about it.

By the way, I'm forever hoping to have a BOB encounter. As said before, I'm a thrill-seeker. But I haven't had anything. Darn and double-darn.

(Why am I starting this stupid thread up again?)

Well, Peakers, I just learned the price of tickets to the Fest.

My Mom will never spend that much for me. Never.

She will also not let me go alone, if she had enough cash. She would come with me.

Also, I live in Somers, NY, and I have a BIG fear of flying.

So, I guess I have no chance of ever meeting other Peakers like me in person.

Oh, what's the use. They'll probably think I'm insane and avoid me...

And I haven't even watched the whole series, only the BOB parts...

I don't know what 'just stop, please' is supposed to mean. Comes across as being superior. Maybe the above poster thinks this is all a hoax, I don't know.

However, Bobette, why don't you give the whole series a watch? I can't believe you've only watched the bits with BOB in. What did you do, skip around til you got a shot of BOB?

Are you kidding? Do you have the whole of Twin Peaks on DVD? If so, get watching it all!

But, it's true, TP! I only watched the parts with BOB in them because my instincts told me that the rest of the series was going to be boring.

I did the same thing for Fire Walk With Me.

But before you all go with the typed abuse, I must remind you that you are responding to the future Laura Palmer.

Keep that in mind.

How could you be thinking of going to the Festival if you haven't even watched all of the series?

We're not very patient with self deprecation here. If you celebrate your shortcomings publicly, we're likely to call you out on them.

Saying you want to be the next Laura Palmer is like saying you want to be the next Easter Bunny.

Are you referring to the chocolate bunnies?

This is getting worrying.

When you say 'the next Laura Palmer' do you mean what that obviously implies?

Well Twin Peaks is not boring so watch it all, you'll love it. How can you know much about Laura Palmer anyway if you've only watched the bits with BOB? I take it you're pulling our legs.

Well I hope so.

Most of the plot details I learned from the internet.

That's all I'm going to say.

I have actual love for that reply.

This is the most piss poor wind-up thread I've ever read and it's not like they're in short supply.
