I was never a fan of her acting for some reason but WTF has she done to herself. She used to be hot.

Wow, I wish I'd never seen that. She looked fantastic in TP. The jowls don't work for her though I'm afraid.

A quick check on Boyle's imdb news page shows that in 2006 there was a rumor that she was suffering from arthritis, her spokesperson denied this (as they often do).
So if we assume that the rumor was true and she's been on some kind of cortisone treatment to help alleviate her symptoms she may be suffering from Cushing's syndrome, which would explain the moon face.

But perez hilton being the paragon of humanity and compassion would rather put the word freak on a picture of her face. Eww sick people lol.

I know, they should really get their facts straight before they start branding people.

Yeah, I was about to say it looks like an allergic reaction to something, maybe Botox or collagen.   This website (that compares pictures, never accounting for passing of time, makeup and lighting etc.) suggests cheek impants.

http://socialitelife.buzznet.com/2006/03/27/the_mirror_has_two_scary_faces.php  These pics are more flattering.  Something has happened to her bone structure.

Well looks like karma has caught up to you... Mrs. I'm Too Attached to My Current Boyfriend That I Can't Distinguish Fact From Fiction and Give the Fans What They Want!

Just kidding. I don't really think she looks horrible, but the way her face hangs is a bit depressing.

Well, it has been nearly 20 years since TP was filmed ,& folks, the human body does change... Actually, I think she just looks like she's healthy, with a bit of meat on her bones. Or do people really prefer the anorexic Flynn-Boyle?

Only the face bones, her body still looks quite thin as far as I could tell.

Are you crazy? Obviously I'd prefer TP-Lara to jowly-Lara.

Yes, I suppose I must be crrrrraaaaazzzzyyyy!!!! And since you don't have a time machine (I'm bettin') to go back to TP era Lara, I guess that I'm the winner!!!

I used to think she was really hot in that girl next door way back in 1990, but now I don't think she is hot even on TP and that devotion is now directed entirely at Sherilynn Fenn.  Yummy!

I have never been able to figure out why girls get collagen injected into their lips.  It looks totally fake freaky fish lips.  It doesn't matter, you will never have Angelina Jolie lips unless you happen to be born with them.  Lara does look like she is having some sort of allergic reaction.  Like in that movie Hitch when he ate the shellfish.

Anyone been reading her blog about Twin Peaks?  There is a link over at dugpa.com

Just curious what your thoughts are on her and her comments...

Yeah, read her first two posts. Kind of bland so far, hasn't told me anything I didn't know.

Very bland, canned answers.

I wonder what other actors on TP were difficult to work with besides her(at least according to rumor and speculation)?  I bet you can tell just by looking at all of the actors who DIDN'T ever do interviews with WIP over the years ( I believe she is one of these).

She has nothing to say, I don't even know why she is bothering, she can't be getting much money for it.

Not a single bit of behind the scenes intrigue or unexpected revelation. Ugh. Who cares about the bloody magazine cover?  It's supposed to be about the show, right?

LFB, STFU.

Does she not realise that people don't care about what time she gets up or what she wears when she's doing the gardening. We want to know why she didn't do FWWM, what she thought about her storyline, her relationship with Kyle etc. Even when she does talk about being directed by Lynch it's only what every actor says about a good director.

What I would say was intersting was when she was talking about how she felt hurt or confused about when people laughed. Because I feel when I watch TP that I'm not sure when to laugh, or what is meant to be funny. I get the feeling that a lot of its (American?) audience are probably laughing at things that wouldn't occur to me as funny. Like that "Sounds Like Sirens" Donna quote or what ever she said.

As usual, nothing but hate online. :)

One thing to remember, if you look hard enough, you'll find similar photos of just about any celebrity. The photographers are constantly snapping photos. Sometimes they just get one that looks funny, and then BAMM the celeb is anorexic, or dying of cancer, or bloated. :)

I remember someone once seeing an odd photo of celeb online and said "I was right beside her when that photo was taken, I don't remember her looking like that." Sometimes certain angles and stuff just make people look weird. Sometimes it's nothing more than that.

If you don't like her blog entries, than don't read them. Isn't there better things to do than complain about them online?

Whatever... It's fun to criticise, what can I say?

Anyway, what is The Practice? Doesn't sound like I'd like it (show about a female lawyer) but that's all I know so has anyone else seen it?

I noticed several people have asked her about FWWM and she either hasn't got to it yet or is ignoring them.
