Anyone know what happened between Lynch and Mark Frost?

Was there a falling out or did they just nto feel like working together anymore?

Together they really seemed to develop a 'mythology' to go along with the general Lynch Vibe.

Really just curious.

I'd be interested in a discussion on this too. People often jump to the conclusion that they had some big feud going on around the last episode, and that Frost was so deeply disappointed that Lynch insisted on a prequel. And it might be true, but then would they have written On the Air together? I don't know, just asking. I do know that Lynch has said that he's never had a better and more fulfilling writing partner, and that was pretty recently, so the relationship is still a very respectful one.
