So Lars and I have been talking about going to Istanbul for our honeymoon but haven´t quite decided yet. We´re still considering Seattle and Snoqualme even though I think it´ll be too expensive because of all the money we spend on the wedding itself.

So. Can some of you tell me about the prices over there? Which hotels/motels are good? What are the prices and what is the easiest way to get from Seattle to Snoqualme if you DON`T have a drivers liscens.

Thanks

Ditte

With the dollar where it is this morning, the US should be an inexpensive vacation.

So I have heard, B. But there is still a great difference between spending 1500 kroner or 8000 kroner on a plane ticket.

Still I have no idea how much we´d have to spend in the US

The Turkish lira will probably make a weak dollar seem like Danish kroner, so I don't think the actual stay will be cheaper in the US, recession or no recession.

"What credit card do you want to put that on?"
"Caash, prease."

The Salish isn't too bad in the off season.  You can't get more romantic than that.

There is a nice bed and breakfast in the area (actually there are tons.) I wouldn't honeymoon at the Edgewick Inn, personally, though they have a nice, big honeymoon suite with a whirlpool tub. But if my budget is limited, I would consider it.

The Edgewater and Marriot Waterfront would be beautiful hotels to honeymoon at, too! Cheaper than the Salish, looks like.
