There was a screening of Ray's old movie Swamp Thing in Chicago tonight, and I made sure to go because Ray was making a guest appearance there. After he spoke with the audience for a bit, he went out to the lobby and shook hands with a few people. He then just so happend to walk right up to me and smile and shake my hand, and I asked him if I could take a pic with him. He then put his arm around me, and took my hand in his, and the shot was taken! I have to say, he has the softest hands I have ever felt, and very very bright blue eyes. Anyway, I don't post on here ever, but I had to share this with my fellow TP fans.....Ray is a cool guy and it was a pleasure to meet him after so many years of watching him on TP. He talked about his "audition" for TP, which just consisted of him and David Lynch discussing their first cars, haha....

NICE! Cool picture too. Ray always seems like such a nice and intelligent guy.

He's also responsible for my two favourite moments in the whole Peaks universe (the Jacques confession in ep. 11, and the post-motor revving scene in FWWM). Such an amazing actor. Guilty pleasure: Savannah. I watched every episode when it was on, largely because of Ray.

Cool. It must be annoying that your pic with Ray is a bit blurry but it makes it a little bit creepy as if he's transforming into BOB while the picture is taken

That's too cool that you met Mr. Wise and in Chicago no less. If I'd known he was in town, I would have invited him to drop by my Oscar party. And another great thing about Ray is that he is from Ohio...:)

Wow, I saw Swamp Thing when I was a kid, yet never realized that was Ray Wise.
