They call it "Americana" on the audio part of the Twin Peaks Coffee Blend competition.  Only instead of the bike engine, they mix in that scary, rotary sawblade hitting wood sound.

Hey- if anyone here on the Gazette is trying out for the coffee commercial thing, you should audition it here, too.  I couldn't figure out the technology, but the mixing software on the site looks pretty comprehensive.  

It's also on that bootleg of music that's been floating around forever. (Motorcycle version on Disc 2, Soap in Sock version on Disc 3 ). I'm surprised you don't have it, Chris.

Twin Peaks domestic violence (incest-rape, spouse abuse) is kind of cartoon-y, and that makes it  that much more  disturbing. (Like Rodney Dangerfield in Natural Born Killers.)  Walter O. told me once that DaRe's overacting was perfect for Leo.  Make the wife abuser out to be less a scary villain and more a cheesy douchebag, I think, and it lets you enjoy the later scenes as Windom's gimp, and Shelley's independence, that much more.

Heh..Jacoby:) I can't understand,either how there can be people who find Sarah's screaming on the phone funny(when she finds out Laura's dead)

What is funny for some,could be not so funny or even disturbing to others and vice versa...And I think I cleared it up why I find that particular scene funny.:)
