In Jan. of 1981, I was driving a cab on a frigid Va. night. Around 2 a.m. I picked up what was to be my final fare of the night, 2 sailors on their way back to the base. Instead, they robbed me & slashed my throat (very superficial) & puntured my right lung, with a straight razor. Talk about your bad experiences...

The second question folks ask: "were they black?" Again, no, just as white as me, y'all. I had a habit of treating my fares nicely, servicemen included. I knew a driver who told me to pack my cab with "squids" on the airport to base run & charge EACH of them full fare. I never could do that. I was lucky that he actually slashed my throat, as he had no weight behind it (probably watched slasher flicks). If he'd just dragged the blade across my neck, he'd have cut a major artery & I would've bled to death. This did lead to my moving to Seattle, getting married, & having my son. All in the space of a year. Some things happen for a reason...

Jeeez!!! Guess my story from a hardware store where I used to work about a customer who opened every single box of lightbulbs just to check if they were OK can't compete with this....
If the poloce didn't catch them, I sure hope someone else nailed the bastards
Now you will see me one more time, if you do good. You will see me two more times, if you do bad...

Incident One: Long, long ago as a shift leader at Blockbuster, I wouldn't cut a guy a break on his late fees, so he and his wife verbally abused me in front of their kids til I called the cops. When the cops showed up, he left, but not before spitting in my face, (Guess what? Blockbuster fired me.) Incident Two: About 5 years ago, assistant manager of an adult bookstore and arcade, I was held up at gunpoint. He also took a bunch of gay porn magazines, a rubber whip, lube and a men's glittery banana hammock. (That one wasn't as bad because I got 2 weeks paid vacation.)

When I was a student I worked in a city-centre bar in Belfast. One night, a well-known (not to me) local paramilitary whistled at me for service. I gently explained to him that I wasn't a dog and to be more polite. He then 'politely' told me that he would shoot me in the head if i didn't serve him! Being the stubborn and stupid person I am, I refused in no uncertain terms and offered to take the matter outside. Noticing the developing confrontation, my manager quietly explained to me who this particular gentleman was and to take his threats seriously. I was promptly moved to another bar

Flushing would be a pretty stupid name if it didn't have its fair share of shit.

| QUOTE: *LetsRoque That's what I was thinking, too, bet me just tell you: Don't do it, Roque. It's just not worth it. There was also the night this freaky-looking dude (I swear to God, he was the spitting image of Beavis from "Beavis and Butthead", right down to the hair and underbite) tried to open a membership, which requires a driver's license or state ID and a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you need two other forms of ID, one of which is a social security card. He didn't have anything, and proceeded to practically yell out "I JUST GOT OUT ON PAROLE...YOU CAN CALL MY PAROLE OFFICER!" Luckily, his girlfriend, sporting cat glasses and a beehive hairdo, opened the membership for him. They only rented one time. Of course, compared to "Exorcist" imitators, over-the-counter beatings and rape, my experiences are quite tame...
| Am I missing something... "RAPE"?! Didn't see anyone relating a rape tale. Did it get omitted? Wait, oh, I jsee it now. They didn't wanna talk about their "friend's" violation....
