I thought this may be fun, as a tribute to Lynch's cameo in Inland Empire.  Add on to this conversation until we have a whole, crazy, scene....the crazier the better.  When we have enough, I will summerize the best of it into one scene.

A dimly lit film set in a major motion picture studio.

Director:  I think that sign is too high...what do you think Smittee?

Smittie:  Yeah...too high

Director (shouting across the stage):  Bucky?  Bucky-joe?  Are you there?  We want the sign down.

Bucky (shouting across the stage from the opposite direction): You want it DOWN?!!!

Director:  Yes bucky....we want it down.  (a pause)  No...not up....we want it down Bucky.  Bucky?  Bucky?  It is going up.  We want it down.

Bucky:  Down?  You...you want it down?

Director:  Yes bucky...we want it down.  About 2 feet. (a pause)  No bucky, that's the wrong sign...the other one...no....the only one....no...the one that is the ad for masties tampons.

Bucky:  You wanna tampon?

Director:  No, bucky...we just want it down.  (a pause)  No not down on the ground bucky....just down about 2 feet. 

Bucky:  No feet?  You want me to take off my shoes? 

Director:  Bucky, you are across the studio and I can't see you and I am tired of shouting.  Just move it down.

Smittie:  All of him is blocked by the set pieces...all I see is the bottom of his pants.

Director:  (exasperated)  No, no. no...bucky, it is very simple.  We want to the sign down.  Bucky?  What are you doing.....Oh my God bucky, why are you dropping your pants?!!!!

Bucky:  Smittie said....You wanted 'em dowm.....I don't understand.

Director: not your pants bucky...just the sign....the sign bucky.  (quietly to smittie) is bucky retarded?

Bucky:  I'm lost!   LOST!!

Director:  I've seen "LOST" its a good show.  but now we need to move the sign.

Bucky:  you want me to MOON the sign? (Dropping his pants again)

Director:  No bucky not MOON the sign...MOVE the sign.....

Bucky:  Oh, you want me to move the sign...where?

Director:  Move it down, bucky.  Down about 2 feet.

Bucky:  2 feet....I got 2 feet, but I already put my shoes back on.

Director:  how about 3 meters, Bucky?  Can you do 3 meters?

Bucky:  I gotta go crap!  Be right back.

Funny - the director is made to be the stupid one here! 

It's strange, though, that Bucky can hear so much better after he comes back. :)

He must have cleaned out his ears in the bathroom!

Bucky:  You want it down now?

Director: no, we need you to get you know who out of the bathroom.

Bucky:  WHO is in the bathroom!  You know who is where?

Director:  Bucky, it isn't that hard.  (sweating and fidgeting)  stop play with your left nipple and pay attention. 

Bucky:  I already paid.

Director: What?

Bucky:  You said 'pay the attendent'...I already paid.

Director:  Not 'pay the attendent'...'pay attention'. 

Bucky:  Where do I go?

Director:  Go back to the bathroom, bucky...we will call you when we need you.
