Twin Peaks is number one. The Sopranos is number two.

Twin Peaks - Entire series (30 episodes) on 10 discs - List price $99.99 - Amazon price $64.99
The Sopranos - Season 6 part 2 (9 episodes) on 4 discs - List price $99.98 - Amazon price $59.99

Crazy.

Ha HA! Take THAT, Scrubs and the disappointing final season of Seinfeld!

Why no, it doesn't take much to amuse me.

The Question is will Susan be conflicted? She is the premiere supporter of the Sopranos. I think it is pretty sweet that Twin Peaks made it to number one, it is way beyond cool! And it is number two overall. Double cool!

And apparently they did it without my order.  Even though I placed my order in August, Amazon waited until today to decide that they needed me to confirm that little three digit number on the back of my credit card before they shipped the product.  Arrrrgh!!!

Google says the list price is $99.98 -J & R music world says the list price is $119.98 - Twitch says the list price is $109.00 - Is there any way to find out what the list price really is?

I opted for the inexpensive (aka slow) shipping and mine should be here today.

And the new music as well.

I am slightly disgruntled. It's really no big deal, but reviewing my order information on Amazon, I noticed I did opt for "as few shipments as possible", yet they felt compelled to ship the Season 2 soundtrack separate (which is out on route, when I checked this morning) from the DVD box set, which was in "Departure Scan" status from last night. Something cool happened though, My buddy Luis is going out of town this weekend and he needed an extra shift so I gave my Thurs night shift, so I can ensconce myself in all my new Twin Peaks goodness like George Constanza in velvet.

They separate your orders based on where each item will be shipping from. Most likely your box set and CD are coming from two different fulfillment centers. I ordered five things on my DVD/CD order and the shipment was split in half due to being handled by two different fulfillment centers, even though I'd asked for as few shipments as possible. Happens all the time. Nothing earth-moving.

This sounds like something you could find in a sci-fi story.

Speaking of Amazon shipping, if you do a lot of Amazon purchasing, you should check out Amazon Prime. Almost everything gets free 2-day shipping (no minimum) and 1 day shipping is only $4 I think it is. Granted, it's about $80/yr but if you spend enough at Amazon and don't want to wait 3-5 days to get your orders through their free shipping for more than $25, you might actually come out ahead. Just depends on how much you order and what you choose when you ship. Plus you can share it amongst your family members too.

I second that notion. :D Amazon Prime is a GODSEND. It's especially handy when you're ordering last-minute Christmas gifts, lemme tell you. :P

Yeah, I have seen that. And I think to myself, I buy a lot on Amazon but not that much and then Amanda mentions Christmas presents (which I should get started on) and then it was more like, "Wait, I do buy a lot on there." Call me Optimus Amazon Prime. Thanks for the reminder, Sheriff. Still waiting for my stuff. UPS came calling after I had left for work, so waiting for the "2nd attempt"

My box set and soundtrack were apparently dispatched from the States on the 26th October, but the estimate says the end of November for delivery. :(

I paid extra for expedited delivery too. Doh!
