Just got our copy (gold edition) in the mail. Of course, I can't open it until Jordan gets home because I know he's going to want to put this in immediately after he's gotten himself in relaxed mode. And of course, he wants to be the one to open it LOL Jordan, I'm sure, will be up all night watching stuff and will probably put his review up later on tonight too, so be ready.

Real quick first impression comment - the cover isn't as gold as the pictures made it look like on the web. It's a darker gold color, and even though it could've been a lot better, it's not really that bad in person -- or at least not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Expect a quick review later tonight.

thanks for the speedy mini-review, Jordan. Wow! An hour and 45 minute documentary! Sounds amazing. The packaging looks pretty cool. I think I will be checking out the bonus features first after all since I probably get a chance to watch anything on it till late Thursday nigth after work.

I see on the bottom of the box, there is English 5.1, English 2.0, Spanish Mono, Brazilian Portuguese Mono, and subtitles are English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese.

I am fascinated by the mention of the deleted scene with Johnny Horne in your review. I always thought Johnny Horne was an interesting character they could have developed. He was so underused. So much of TP is about secrets and thinsg not being as they appear so Johnny was a prime candidate for that angle.

I remember reading a Twin Peaks fanfic called "The Owls are Not What They Seem" which seemed to me the most logical choice for the next movie title, but alas... Anyway Johnny Horne plays quite a role in it.
