Has anyone got any? I have Dark Water, The City of Lost Children, Evilenko and Cet-amour La.

Evilenko wasn't much good at all. Dark Water and City of Lost Children were good but slightly disappointing after expecting something as good as Mulholland Dr. or The Straight Story (and TP obviously)

Cet-amour La is really good but there are alot of tracks that have themes extremely similar to FWWM. Not that I minded much because his FWWM score is brilliant.

I really hope that Lynch and Angelo haven't had a fallout, hence the reason for him not scoring IE. They both seem to bring out the best in each other.

Dark Water isn't bad and thanks for the heads up so I won't bother with Evilenko...I would like to get Cet-Amour-La but it's hard to find and it's usually quite expensive...his best scores outside of Lynch seems to be his work with Jean-Pierre Jeunet...City of Lost Children and A Very Long Engagement. Another gem is Paul Schraeder's The Comfort of Strangers...Two other great Angelo soundtracks are Holy Smoke! and the remake of The Wicker Man are both worth purchasing...

And don't forget his score for A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. Actually, go ahead.

You can get Cet-amour La on iTunes. After Yann Tiersen's brilliant score to Amelie I can't really see Jenuet going back to Angelo, although I suppose it depends on the film.

And let's not forget the perennial classic Death Becomes Her, featuring a Broadway-style showtune sung by Meryl Streep!  W00T!

Some nifty jazzy Angelo stuff is on Autofocus, Paul Schrader's bio-pic on Bob Crane. Most of it is great songs from the '60s/'70s,   but there's a swingin' Badalamenti tune (Snap!) by Buster Poindexter  & his Autofocus Suite...

Has anyone heard Angelo's new song with Dolores O'Riordan? It's called The Butterfly

You can listen to it on his MySpace page - http://www.myspace.com/89611561

Oh my God, I love this song! The Cranberries are one of my favorite bands... if only because of their "No Need to Argue" album, and I love Dolores O'Riordan's voice. Thanks for the link, I would never have heard it otherwise!

That god damn trailer's more popular than Uncle's Day in a whorehouse!

It is a beautiful song, isn't it.

It's also interestin that when you listen to Shelley, the cover that comes up is not the terrible official one it's the waterfall one.

The sountrack for Holy Smoke is great (as the movie itself IMO). Very emotional pieces. It's my favorite non-Lynch soundtrack!

I just discovered via a 1995 radio broadcast of a rehearsal/interview with Marianne Faithfull, that Angelo Badalamenti wrote the music and Faithfull the lyrics for her 1995 album, A Secret Life.  She and her band were playing a song called The Stars Line Up, and I was thinking, that music is very TP.  At the end, the dj, Vin Scelsa, asked her how long she and Angelo Badalamenti had been working together (since '92, she answered.)

 Anyway, if you go here

 http://www.mariannefaithfull.org.uk/Audio.HTML

and click on "She", you can listen.
