Does anyone know whether there will be any new TP sheet music to coincide with the new CD? I really hope so but I haven't heard of any plans.

I was disappointed in the skill level of the original soundtrack piano music. I'm not saying I'm any Angelo, but I like a bit of a challenge.

Yeah, but it's still fun being able to play some of the great themes from the show.

Yeah, I kinda expected the piano music to be a little closer to the real deal. Instead we got the Twin Peaks equivalent of "Chopsticks". It's apparently up to us to embellish it, I guess. That being said, I would LOVE more sheet music for the new soundtrack. I was always a bit disappointed that we didn't get even a smidge of sheet music for the FWWM soundtrack. Granted most of it is kind of...well...hard to put into piano terms, but even some tablature for "The Pink Room" would've rocked. And chords would've been nice for "Questions in a World of Blue."

The piano sheet music's a bit faulty, too; and it skips bits. Perhaps it was rush-released at the time, and never properly corrected?

When I first got it I enjoyed it. But now after becoming more experienced a piano player and more familiar with the TP soundtracks, I find it really disappointing. Does anyone have any other Badalamenti sheets? I have a Film Noir book that includes Mysteries of Love (very simple version) and the Love Theme from Mulholland Dr., which is also a tad basic for my liking. Just wondering, how complex is Angelo's music? I know this question is very subjective, but chord progressions obviously play a big part and I suppose the melodies aren't overly complex.

I think because the music's so atmospheric, with its dense keyboard layers, it's just very hard to reproduce. You're left with its bare notes, sort of.
