Another doubt, another question, guys.

Last scene of the episode. After Leland's death, during the conversation in the wood between Albert, Dale and Henry,  suddenly after Sheriff Truman asks: "where's Bob now?" we can see in first person view the spirit of Bob running through the grass. Just in the beginning of this final scene, we can see a car with broken glasses just for a while and then Bob passes over. What about this car? Why is there? Have I lost something?

Thanks for your explanations, everytime so clear....

Sonia

Not everything has a deep, hidden meaning - The Beatles had to put up with people dissecting their songs and coming up with crazy interpretations of them - Charles Manson being the most obvious. Lighten up , it's just an old abandoned car. You didn't miss anything.

Maybe, but in that case executive production had lots of money to waste if they put an old abandoned car there only to create a decorative atmosphere...

Maybe it was there since before...Ok, I'm paranoic

I think it's a nice, artistic touch. (Doubtful it was there before since that scene is filmed in a well kept, well traveled park in the LA area.)  Just like Leo's unfinished house, it gives a sense of neglect.  In a way it's symbolic of Leland, abandoned by his "driver" (BOB)

A possibility (not to be taken too serious, but interesting anyway) is that it is the car Earle used to take Powell (the vagrant he murders) and kill him... They mention finding the car "behind the ridge" and that Earle waited some days between Powell's death and when he leaves him at the station (so he could move his finger because of the rigor mortis). So maybe (big MAYBE here) during the events of ep.16 Earle kills Powell, abandons the car that is later seen when the owl flies next to it and days later (ep.21) Hawk finds it...
