*spoilers*

According to Andrew's watch, the Savings & Loan blows up around 7:25am on the morning of Sunday, March 26.

The timeline says that Cooper and Annie are found at night (it is dark when we see them)

and that the last Great Northern scene must happen later that night.

Here are some unanswered questions that haven't been brought up in a while:

Why are Andy and Harry messing around all day at Glastonbury Grove during the explosion?

In a town as small as Twin Peaks, wouldn't they have heard it and wanted to help/see what the hell was going on? I mean, don't you think Andy would have been a little less concerned about Harry's breakfast?

Was Hawk taking care of everything on his own?

What about Doc? Did Ben just brush himself off after the fight and everyone at the explosion had already been collected into body bags in little, charred pieces? Would there be dental evidence to identify Andrew?

A bank open before nine? On a Sunday?

That could only happen in a town like Twin Peaks.

Here is one way to interpret the timeline:

The Miss Twin Peaks Contest happens on Sunday evening (which is why Dr Hayward says, "Hope you all enjoyed your weekend.") Windom/Annie/Cooper enter the Lodge at around midnight on Sunday night.

On Monday morning, Truman is still waiting for Cooper to re-emerge. Loyal friend that he is, he will not leave until Coop re-appears. Meanwhile, Andrew/Pete/Audrey go to the Bank (which is open for business as usual on Monday morning). Also, events at the Diner around Monday lunchtime. (Presumably, Hawk and other deputies deal with the explosion.)

On Monday night, Cooper/Annie re-appear in the circle of trees. Truman takes Coop back to the Hotel, where he rests.

Tuesday morning: Cooper opens his eyes, but says, "I wasn't sleeping." Then, smashes head against mirror.

Hope the above makes sense.

That makes sense to me, but the twinpeaks.org timeline as well as the fan fic for ep. 30 on this site says otherwise. Maybe I'm missing something.  But thank you.

scorp, are you looking for the religion thread?

You're welcome, 12rainbow.

Well, I guess twinpeaks.org has one possible reconstruction of the timeline, but there's been a debate about the exact date of day of week that the Miss Twin Peaks Contest taeks place on. I seem to remember reading about it in an issue of Wrapped in Plastic. But I think the series is very ambiguous in some ways, and so there are different ways of interpreting things.
