We're doing our annual Hallowe'en show, but  the roles I've been cast in aren't too exciting costume-wise. Actually, we don't have a performance on the 31st (a Wednesday), so not sure what I'm up to that night. Since I had such good luck with my Fish in the Percolator get-up at the Fest, maybe I'll use that. Likely not the perc part, just the fish.  Need a better concept than just "a fish". Hmmm....

It is so Halloween already in my mind. I have a dish of candy corn and a book of Poe on my coffee table.

The first part of my costume will be olfactory (check out the Haunted House perfumes!):

I'm thinking Goth Alice in Wonderland this year.

So, American McGee's Alice? Or something of your own creation?

I'd like to pull off a kickass Ledger-Joker. I know the movie isn't out yet, but there's more than enough publicity stills around. I probably won't be able to find socks like these, though:

Here's something you may or may not know, until recently American McGee was living on Lamma Island in Hong Kong. I've met him a few times... I think he's setting up a production house in Shanghai at the moment.

There are so many things that piss me off about this photo, I don't even know where to begin. A pox on Heath Ledger!

Oddly enough, I haven't even given my Halloween costume a thought this year. I've been so wrapped up in school that my mind has been elsewhere. The suck thing is that, like last year, I have school the evening of Halloween. So once again I will be robbed of the joys of handing out candy. Last year I was supposed to dress up as Alice in Wonderland and chucked that after finding out I had a midterm that night. Maybe I'll just do that this year and wear it to class anyhow. I've always fancied dressing as McGonagall too, so there's also that possibility. Requires very little interaction from me in the creativity department, so. Easy.

Well, I was looking at the Malice in Horrorland (Unhappily Ever After) and the Alice in Gothland costumes.  But now I"m thinking of making my own psycho prom queen outfit.

I'm totally thinking of either re-using my wasted naughty witch costume from last year ( the trick or treating sucked hard last year) or going as an engineering ensign from enterprise.

How would you like to come back to my tardis and take a look at my time vortex?

Eric might dress as Jack Skellington this Halloween--he's certainly got the height :). I found the black pinstripe suit at a thrift store--still had the Nightmare Before Christmas tags on it.  If he does, I would of course dress as Sally. :)

Even in Italy Halloween is not a custom of the country yet, I would wear a Berlusconi's Mask...I think it's better do it on Halloween than during Carnival...The first occasion is more appropriate than the second because of the man (or the dwarf?) I'm talking about.

It's becoming pretty obvious that I don't have the resources to pull off Mr. J this year.

So now I'm thinking Pat Bateman: business suit, clear raincoat, slicked-back hair and blood spatters on the face.
