I've been wanting to buy a Sea Monkey kit! I haven't had sea monkeys since I was like 10 or 12, but I do yearn for them. I remember the ads for them in comic books and such. They'd show this happy family of "sea monkeys" sitting there with big smiles on their faces. And you could order "toys" for the sea monkeys to play with. It was such a cool gimmick, really.

I shall now have to seek out some sea monkeys, since it's clear that I'm not the only grown adult on the planet who digs 'em. :D

I was always disappointed that mine never grew up to look like the ones on the package.

Guinea pig is one rodent I've never owned.  Skittish critters, but cute!

Amanda- amazon has all the cool sets http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_i_1/104-0745499-8189527?ie=UTF8&rs=&keywords=sea%20monkeys&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Asea%20monkeys%2Ci%3Atoys-and-games

The Ghostly Galleon set comes with the Plasma III (to hatch double the sea monkeys) the hybrid red/orange sea monkey eggs, a Million Bubbles air pump and an Aqua Leash.  Plus, the tank has a light built into the lid and a glow in the dark ghost ship.   It's wicked cool!   I think Toys R Us has the Sea Monkeys on Mars and the Hang 10 set.  How far they've come...

WOW. Gone are the days of the basic plastic container. :) There's all kinds of wacky stuff! Though I do have to question whether it's a good idea to wear one's sea monkeys 'round their neck or their wrist...that's a little morbid. Boiled shrimp anyone? :D

I'm so going to have to order me some Sea Monkeys. Like right now.

My theory by A. Elk, brackets, Miss, brackets. This theory goes as follows and begins now. All brontosauruses are thin at one end, much much thicker in the middle, and then thin again at the far end. That is my theory, it is mine, and it belongs to me, and I own it, and what it is, too.

I have some vidoes of the bunnies too but not on You tube they're not really very good plus my laughter (unlike Ditte's cute laugh on the vid she posted) is HIDEOUS and I don't want to subject eevryone to the evil cackling witch's voice.

wow that's odd, could've sworn I had put pics of my pets here..

I have 2 beloved bunnies - well have had 3, sadly my sweet Basil, the oldest (buck) died just a few days after my birthday this year of gutstasis, he was 7.   I do miss him terribly, he was always a picture of perfect health and a normal, happy, well socialised bun, but eventually he had reccurent gut problems and that was what caused his death.  Luckily, he died naturally and didn't have to be put to sleep, which I know (from when I had my pet yorskhire terrier years ago) is the worst.

Aside from Bas, I have sweet Buffy, who's about 6 and was lonely after he died, so after a few months time to grieve, we got Muncher.  Muncher is  also a buck, looks very similar to Basil, same breed (Buffy's a dutch/English cross) and it was fate that brought him - we wanted to get a litter trained bunny rather than a baby one and it was perfect timing as we took him on when his present owners emigrated to Dubai.  He's 3 and still a bundle of energy, he follows you around everywhere, so sweet!
