That's cool, Rebel. My friend Luis happened to be in Best Buy out past where we work on Monday and they had already put there 20 copies of Inland Empire on the shelves because they "didn't expect it sell very well". I noticed on Amazon it was at 14 on pre-orders the day before its release which I thought was pretty high for such an enigmatic film.

This is just as good as place as any I guess to see if anyone has tried all the sound mixes on the DVD. I followed the advice of the review I posted on the IE thread and used the "near mix" and it sounded awesome. Luis said he went with Dolby surround and he said it sounded good. I told him about the review (I thought I told him about that when he called me Monday to tell me he got it a day early). I am curious to hear how the "far mix" sounds. I will compare them later on and get back to you.

I had surround sound speakers connected here in my living room, & boy howdy, it was fantastic listening to music , very loud very cool! I still have those speakers, after the fire accident somewhere, jeez, gotta hook them up here :)
