if Bob when he left Leland's body inhabited another town character (which the viewer wouldn't know who) and murders begin again and the plot became more around the search for Bob? Also, which character in particular do you think it would be interesting for Bob to inhabit and do more killings and for what reasons?

True, the hero, we saw that in the series and in a cliffhanger I think Bob being entwined with Major Briggs somehow and delving further into his military background would have been interesting- introducing some corrupt military characters Also, I would love to have a backstory on a blow by blow detail of what went down with the Log lady's husband

No, I don't think it would more intresting if Bob does not go into Cooper, it just would be shitty and pointless to want to change the way the story goes. I love the way the series ends, the plot lines were wrapped up great, to revist the TPs for a 3rd season is terrible idea and would ruin what is to me. Think of every great story and then then think of its sequel. For fun of this topic, I'll just say I wouldn't really want this, but if Doc Hayward had Bob or Andy or someone goofy like that it could be enteraining, but realisticly not at all.

Not immediately should Cooper have gotten possessed, it makes for a great season finale... but after Leland's death you are certainly left with the impression the main plot of the show is going from 'Who Killed Laura Palmer?' to quite literally, 'Where's Bob Now?'. (I'm certainly speaking for nearly everyone I know who I've lent the show to). So it's pretty odd there's only two, brief apperances by Bob before the finale, and the Black Lodge stuff only coming in six episodes from the end. Maybe pick up the story sometime months after Leland's death with Cooper returning to town after another murder, re-connecting with the townspeople and finally learning the meaning behind Bob.

Well, crappy hole! Given that she was the most grief-stricken & really had little to do post-Leland's death, why not have Sarah try to kill some choice townsfolk? Maybe via second-hand smoke. Or by some wild haven't had sex for way toooo long antics. Maybe she could trample random people on her white horse...

Or move to Carl Rodd's trailer park, and marry Lula Fortune's dad...

I liked that Bob went into hiding. When he appeared on Josie's death bed it was a total shock and suprise.
