Uhhh, this sorta thread has been done to it's arbitrary death. On top of it, you have character & actress names mixed up on your list. Are we expected to rank the roles or the players? Or can we just find a more original & stimulating subject?

I was also going to question the mixture of character and actor names on your list, but OSF did it, so I won't.  Perhaps this should be a sticky? Until we finally tire of discussing it, of course.

Oops, don't alienate the newbie. Hey, I didn't mention your awkward titling of this thread (thought maybe you were an English ASL type). Happy that TP is your fave show, but this thread just seemed like a Beavis & Butthead kinda thing ("Yeah! Shelly's hot!! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!"). I don't expect, but do HOPE for more from TP fellow fans. I just blanch at threads like anything WORST/ MOST IRRITATING/ Let's make a list type of deals. And I have over 4200 postings on the most current board. I've done my bit to enliven the ambiance. And I've also invested quite a bit of creative energy contributing to the TP legacy over the past decade plus, writing & staging a TP: Live trilogy sequel (well documented in WIP) , writing a mockumentary short (Flappy: Behind the Music in the Air), & various endeavors for the TP Fest since '93. I don't really have to defend my efforts, but will try to start a new invigorating thread. Just thought maybe you'd check out what the whole deal's about before you jumped in the pool. Welcome to the board. Hope we'll have some lively chats in the future. Don't forget to check the Festival board!

Not a fan of them myself, and most I would imagine always hope for more inspired debate, but the fact is, new viewers of the series can be initially curious about this kinda stuff if they've interacted with fandom. (Even if it's old hat for a lot of the rest). Doesn't appeal to me. But no need to put them off. Just ignore it and let the thread die. And I would especially look forward to a insightful, witty topic by you Chris... though couldn't wrap my head around Jacques' relation to Norma I'm afraid. Look forward to more. ;)

Actually, it was his relation to Vivian: Norma's mom. And it was really me being snarky. I WAS serious about the FOURTH Renault brother thread. That one still makes me laugh... I mean THINK serious thoughts. Hey, let's rank the 3 dead Renault brothers in terms of deadness.

agree about the listing-thing, i'm not a fan of them either. my problem is probably the language, i feel sometimes that my english/american is too poor to go into the deeper debates. I do enjoy them, cause i do understand almost everything written, but i find it difficult to answer myself, because of my vocabulary...which of course sometimes result in that i can't always tell if u guys are ironic or not, but i'm trying to keep up with u. Looking forward to a more inspired debate too!
