Is it just me who still find the connection between Titanic and Twin Peaks weird?

Norma tells Hank in prison that she'd rather be Ed's whore than Hanks wife
("I'd rather be his whore than your wife!").

In Titanic Rose (Kate Winslet) says the same line to Cal (Billy Zane).

Also notice that Spicer Lovejoy is played by David Warner (Thomas Eckhardt) and that
he also appeard in "S.O.S Titanic" from 1979 as Laurence Beasley.

It's a strange world, isn't it?

Yeah, I noticed that to. Billy Zane plays John Justice Wheeler in the show, but many people just call him Jack. In Titanic he plays a character who wants to see a person named Jack dead...

Twin Peaks can be a reference to breasts, and Titanic begins with Tit.

In the end Rose suffers from hypothermia making her a BLUE ROSE!

And when Jack takes Rose to that 3rd class party where she drinks, dances and has fun, that's a *clear* reference to Laura taking Donna to the Pink Room where she drinks, dances and has fun...

The "Did you notice" series has really honed your powers of perception. Well spotted.

On a related note, Agent Roger Hardy plays Prince's dad in Purple Rain. Made me giggle.

That's okay. I'd convinced myself that the "Who do you think that is there" chorus from the new Interpol album was a deliberate reference, until I realized that's not what Jeffries actually says.

Clarence also plays a fellow inmate of Kyle M.'s character in John Dahl's Against The Wall.

This is clever as a topic, more ideas are needed here, I can't say I can think of any.  Titanic is fun, I've seen it an unhealthy amount of times and I'll see it more if I can.
