The establishing shot of the exterior of the Great Northern and the falls (seen in many episodes) - I swear it looks like people (so tiny you can barely see them) are walking around behind the Great Northern. Not that I want anymore JJ Wheeler, but do you think the writers would have explored in Season 3 the murder of his partner in Brazil that he left town for? Possible FWWM Judy/Phillip Jeffries connection? Donna's 2 younger sisters must have active social lives because they are LITERALLY never home. Is the Bookhouse Boy helping Major Briggs in this episode different or the same as the one that got clubbed by Jones in the Bookhouse? Their hair looks different. Major Briggs doesn't mention knowing Windom Earle until now. Did he not mention it earlier because he wasn't aware of the investigation into Earle being in town or was it just classified? Is the old lady with the shaking hand in the diner (who is in a ton of episodes) one of Mrs. Tremond's bingo buddies? If Josie's spirit is in the Black Lodge, who is going to try to save it? Harry? How in the world did the Windom and Leo Horse know where to find the Major in the woods? The hand shaking has just got to be BOB feeling his way back into this world and the slow motion shot of dripping coffee the shifting of time in the Lodges. The camera shot slowly pulling away from Coop and Annie at the RR is effectively sinister. Briggs refers to the hooded figure as a Guardian. The final sequence through the empty town and eventually to BOB is possibly my favorite non-Lynch directed scene. Now the story is getting back on track.
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this." -Dale Cooper
